HOPEWELL, VA—Police are searching for four people involved in an armed robbery and home invasion in Hopewell on Thursday.
Police said four armed suspects entered a home in the 2200 block of Raleigh St. at approximately 11:30 p.m. Thursday.
One of the suspects fired a shotgun inside the home and demanded "the money" from the resident, according to police.
The resident was assaulted several times by one of the suspects.
Police are asking anyone who may have been in the area and witnessed a gold Chevrolet Asto Van parked on Maryville Avenue to call Crime Solvers.
Anyone who may have been traveling in and around the area of this incident and observed anything or anyone to please contact lead detective, Senior Detective Roland Grimm of the Hopewell Police Department at (804) 541-2284.
