HANOVER, VA—Police are asking for help to identify two men who assaulted store clerks and robbed a convenience store in Hanover County on Thursday night.
It happened at a convenience store in the 11200 block of Washington Highway around 10:51 p.m. Thursday, police said.
Two men, armed with a silver handgun and an eight inch metal pipe, entered the store and took an undisclosed amount of money and several cartons and packs of Newport cigarettes, police said.
Two store clerks were assaulted by one of the suspects with the gun, according to police.
Both victims sustained non-life threatening injuries to the head and face. They were treated on scene by Hanover County Fire and EMS.
