A woman accused of a fatal hit and run in Richmond was found guilty by a judge Tuesday afternoon.

In a bench trial, Jennifer Slemp was found guilty of felony hit and run in connection to the April crash which killed 25-year-old David Boyd.

Another person was also injured in the incident.

In testimony Tuesday morning, witnesses described seeing Slemp's vehicle strike the victims outside of Sine. They said the vehicle slowed after the collision, then took off from the scene.

The defense argued that blood found on the vehicle was not a DNA match to Boyd.

Slemp could face up to 10 years in prison. She is scheduled to be sentenced in November.
