Charlottesville Woman Charged With Attempted Murder

Albermarle County, VA—A woman has been arrested and charged with attempted murder in Charlottesville. 

Police responded to an emergency call at about 3:30 AM Tuesday morning in the 300 block of Ellington Bend. After investigating, police found that 33-year-old Theresa Lynn Brady had attempted to kill another person. She was arrested and transported to the police department for questioning.

Brady was charged with one felony count of attempted murder, and one misdemeanor charge of delaying communication with 911.

Brady is awaiting a bond hearing set for Wednesday afternoon at the Albermarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail.
