CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA—President Barack Obama will make a campaign stop in Charlottesville on Wednesday.

The president will speak at a grassroots event at the Charlottesville nTelos Wireless Pavilion as part of a two-day college tour. Doors open at 1 p.m.

The event comes after grassroots events in Iowa and Colorado. During the tour, President Obama is expected to discuss the choices young voters face in this election between what he says are two fundamentally different visions of how to grow the economy, in part by ensuring future workers can afford a college degree.

The president is also expected to highlight the importance of registering to vote, especially among young people, and will encourage voters to understand their rights and know how to exercise them in their state.

The event is free and open to the public, but tickets are required. One ticket per person will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. To pick up a ticket, visit one of the following locations beginning Sunday, August 26 at 12:00 p.m.
