UPDATE: Suspect Arrested In Chesterfield Fatal Stabbing

CHESTERFIELD, VA—Chesterfield Police have arrested a man in connection with a fatal stabbing that took place late Friday night in Chesterfield County.

Robert "Bobby" Eugene Richmond, 30, of the 4900 block of Lippingham Drive, was arrested on charges of murder, grand larceny, felonious assault and damaging a phone line. He was arrested around 9 a.m. Saturday in Powhatan County, police said.

Police responded to reports of a stabbing in the 4900 block of Lippingham Drive around 11:00 p.m. Friday.

Peter Casella, 46, of Chesterfield, was found stabbed to death, when police arrived at the scene.

Police said the stabbing was a domestic-related homicide.
