Henrico, VA—Three people were displaced by a residence fire in the 6100 block of Memorial Drive Tuesday afternoon. There were no injuries.
Henrico Fire crews responded to the single-story home at 4:20 PM, and found heavy fire shooting from a window.
The area did not have fire hydrants; tanker trucks were used to battle the blaze, and additional units were requested for manpower.
The occupants of the home—two adults and one child—had safely evacuated the home when crews arrived. They are being assisted by family members.
One bedroom of the home sustained heavy fire damage; there was moderate smoke and heat throughout the house.
There were no injuries to the occupants or firefighters.
