COLONIAL HEIGHTS, VA—Three people were displaced after a fire at a townhouse in Colonial Heights early Wednesday morning.
The fire broke out just after 12:15 a.m. at a townhouse located at 64 Colonial Court just off East Westover Avenue.
Nearby townhouses were evacuated after the fire broke out on the second floor of the townhouse.
No one was home at the time of the fire and no was injured.
Two residents of a neighboring unit were displaces, as was one resident of an adjacent unit.
The fire is estimated to have caused $50,000 in damages. The cause is still under investigation.
