CHESTERFIELD, VA—Crews have repaired a sinkhole that formed early Wednesday morning on Route 10 in Chesterfield.

The right lane of Route 10 west near Bermuda Orchard Lane was temporarily closed as crews worked to repair a sinkhole. All traffic lanes reopened just after 7:00 a.m.

VDOT said congestion in the area could cause traffic delays for nearby Elizabeth Davis Middle School.
