Richmond, VA—Police are investigating a possible hit and run incident, which left a bicyclist injured.
On Saturday, September 8 at approximately 11:30 PM, police were called to the 1800 block of Chamberlayne Parkway for reports of an unconscious, injured male bicyclist on the sidewalk.
The male, in his early twenties, was lying next to his bicycle when police arrived. He was transported to the VCU Medical Center for treatment.
The visible damage to the bicycle led police to believe it collided with an automobile.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Sgt. John Bowman at (804) 646-1369 or Crime Stoppers at 780-1000. Tips may also be texted to Crime Stoppers at 274637, using the keyword "ITip" followed by the information.
