VA—The University of Richmond has
been ranked among the best liberal arts colleges in the country.
U.S. News & Worlds Report's "Best Colleges 2013" guide
ranked the University of Richmond Number 28 on its list of 249 Best National
Liberal Arts Colleges.
The annual guide also ranks University of Richmond
as Number 11 on its "Great Schools at Great Prices" list.
The best-value recognition reflect the school's "need-blind"
admission policy, which doesn't consider an applicant's ability to pay when
making admission decisions. The University
of Richmond pledges to
provide 100 percent of demonstrated financial need to admitted students.
Other recently released college guides that have ranked or
selected Richmond include "The Fiske Guide to
Colleges" (2013 edition), Princeton Review's "The Best 376 Colleges: 2013
Edition," and Forbes.com's America's
Best Colleges online list.
