RICHMOND, VA—A suspicious package found at the Port of Richmond has been determined not to be dangerous.
The package was found in a remote area at the Port of Richmond, just off Deepwater Terminal Road on Friday afternoon.
Richmond fire and police responded to the scene and determined the package was not dangerous.
No evacuations were ordered, and traffic was not impacted.
Port operations saw a minor impact, as authorities responded.
