HENRICO, VA—Multiple Henrico County homes have been evacuated after a suspicious device was found inside a home Friday afternoon.
Three homes in the 1900 block of Navion Street have been evacuated after a possible explosive device was found inside a home.
Police said the device was a military device and officials from the Department of Defense are responding.
The device was found by detectives who were conducting a follow up to an investigation. Officers first arrived at the home just after 12 p.m. Friday.
The home where the device was discovered, in addition to the residences to the homes' right and left, have been evacuated, police said.
Henrico County police and explosives teams are on scene.
