Richmond, VA—Police are investigating an incident in the 1200 block of St. James Street in Richmond, wherein a male victim was shot in the stomach.
Just before 1:00 PM, police responded to reports of shots fired in the Gilpin Court neighborhood of Richmond. They found a male victim shot in the stomach.
Details are very limited at this time, but police confirm that the shooting victim was transported to VCU Medical Center.
While there is no suspect description at this time, police ask anyone with information about this incident to contact Crime Stoppers at 804-780-1000.
