Richmond, VA—The Fresh Market store is opening a location in Carytown on Wednesday.
The specialty grocer operates 125 stores across the country, with the Richmond store, located at 10 N. Nansemond Street, being the latest addition.
The Fresh Market Richmond Grand Opening will begin at 8:45 AM with a "Cracking of the Parmesan" event, similar to a traditional ribbon-cutting. The store will officially open at 9:00 AM.
The first 1000 customers will receive a free reusable shopping bag and a sample portion of coffee. Food sampling stations and chef demonstrations will take place from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, and continue throughout the week.
Customers will also be able to enter drawings for a $100 The Fresh Market Gift Card. Five drawings will be held for customers who sign up between Wednesday and Sunday.
