Richmond, VA—After a 25-year-old man was shot and died of his injuries, police are investigating a homicide in the 1900 block of Glenlea Avenue
in East Richmond.
Antonio M. Dinkins, of the 2500 block of Whitcomb Street, was shot at 10:45 AM on
Friday, September 7. He was transported to VCU Medical
Center, where he died as
a result of his injuries on Thursday, September 13.
A black male wearing a white tee-shirt and dark-colored
shorts was seen leaving the scene after the shooting, witnesses say. The male
then walked up Whitcomb Street
towards Mechanicsville Turnpike.
