VA—A man has been arrested in
connection with a stabbing incident, in which both he and a female victim were
injured.
Police arrived to a residence in the 4900 block of Brickhaven Drive at
4:30 AM on September 15, to find the female suffering from knife wounds.
Officers then saw a man exiting the residence, who has since
been identified as 37-year-old Spencer L. Ford of Chesterfield. Ford was also suffering from
knife wounds.
Both Ford and the woman were transported to VCU Medical
Center with life
threatening injuries. Both are expected to recover.
Ford faces Aggravated Malicious Wounding charges in the case,
which has been classified as a domestic-related attempted murder-suicide.
