Students Sore After Henrico School Bus Incident

Henrico, VA—Students suffered neck pain and soreness after a school bus was forced to slam on brakes to avoid hitting a car Thursday morning.

The incident began at a stop light. When the bus pulled forward to go through the light, a car pulled out in front of it. The driver was forced to slam on the brakes.

While there were no injuries at the scene, several students complained of neck pain and soreness.

Five children, all students a t Hungary Creek Middle School, reported to the school nurse. All five went home for precautionary reasons.

Hungary Creek Middle School representative Patrick Kinlaw told 8News that the school communicated with every family who had a student on the bus at the time of the incident.
