HENRICO, VA—A student at Henrico High School was injured after being struck by a Henrico County school bus Friday morning.
The victim, a teenage boy, suffered a leg injury, according to police. He was taken to VCU Medical Center.
The accident happened around 8:11 a.m. at the intersection of Byron Street and Duke Road.
Students on the bus were transferred to two other buses and taken to Henrico High school, according to school officials.
The parents of those on the bus involved in the accident were notified of the incident, school officials said.
The victim's name has not been released.
No charges have been filed. Police continue to investigate.
