Richmond, VA—After a contract employee was assaulted outside Cabell Library on Virginia Commonwealth University's campus last week, police are searching for two suspects.
At approximately 9:50 PM on September 20, two suspects—both described as black men—approached and assaulted the employee.
The first suspect is described as a heavyset black male, who was wearing a blue and white striped shirt and a white fisherman's hat at the time of the assault. The second suspect was also a black male, wearing a gray shirt and two long necklaces.
Images of the men who committed the assault were captured on a security camera outside of the library.
Anyone who can identify the suspects in the photos or has any information about this incident is asked to contact Det. E.L. Greer of the VCU Police Department at (804) 828-1196.
