Chesterfield, VA--Due to inclement weather, the Chesterfield County Public Schools Marching Band Exhibition scheduled for tonight has been postponed until Monday, October 8.
Chesterfield school officials say the rainy weather has pushed back the exhibition until next week. The rescheduled event will be held Monday, September 8, starting at 6:30 PM at Monacan High School. Every Chesterfield County high school band will perform.
Admission to this event is free.
Volunteers from Chesterfield County's middle school bands will perform the National Anthem at the start of the event. The high school bands will then perform in the following order:
Manchester, Meadowbrook, Monacan, Matoaca, Midlothian, Clover Hill, Bird, James River, Thomas Dale and Cosby.
