RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - A North Carolina man who brought a 13-year-old runaway to Virginia to work as a prostitute will spend more than 10 years in prison.

Korey Jermaine Reynolds received a 130-month sentence Tuesday in federal court in Richmond. The 36-year-old Charlotte man pleaded guilty in July to transporting a minor across state lines for prostitution.

Prosecutors say Reynolds and two women working for him as prostitutes met the girl in Miami in February or March and brought her to Charlotte. The girl worked for Reynolds as a prostitute there and in the Richmond area, where the adults were arrested in May.

The two 20-year-old women, Whitney Hayes and Rachael Masingene, pleaded guilty last week to conspiracy to transport a person across state lines for prostitution. They will be sentenced Jan. 11.
