HENRICO POLICE UPDATE:
The following is an update regarding the earlier Disorderly
Call in 8900 block of Quioccasin Rd. that occurred late this afternoon.
Detectives have determined that this incident was not-random, meaning the victim
knew the assailant. The victim has been treated and released from the hospital;
the injury was minor in nature. Two arrests have been made for Assault on a
Family Member and Malicious Wounding, however, due to a domestic relationship
involved, names are being withheld at this time.
No further information will be released at this time.
Two people suffered minor injuries after a stabbing incident inside an Asian food restaurant in Henrico's west end Tuesday afternoon.
According to police, a man and woman suffered superficial injuries during an altercation inside the China Panda restaurant on Quioccasin Road.
Investigators said the two individuals involved in the altercation knew each other, but their relationship is unclear. Both were transported to the hospital.
