Henrico, VA—A two-vehicle crash on Interstate 95 just north of Parham Road left one person with serious injuries Tuesday evening.
A sport utility vehicle and a tractor trailer crashed on Interstate 95 south, just north of Parham Road in Henrico. The tractor trailer, which was loaded with trash, overturned in the wreck.
Police responded to the scene at 6:17 PM, and found the 54-year-old driver of the tractor trailer suffering from serious non-life threatening injuries. The driver was taken to VCU Medical Center.
The 57-year-old driver of the SUV was not injured.
The names of those involved in the wreck have not been released. No charges have been filed.
The center and right lanes of the highway remained closed for several hours while crews cleared the scene.
