Richmond Man Arrested In Chesterfield Bank Robbery
CHESTERFIELD, VA—Police have arrested a man in connection with the robbery of a Chesterfield bank Tuesday.
Idris Palmer, 30, of Richmond, was arrested and charged with robbery.
Police said Palmer entered The Village Bank located at 6736 Southshore Drive just before 1:15 p.m. Tuesday. Palmer handed the bank teller a note, demanding money and then fled the bank on foot, police said.
An officer located the suspect's vehicle a short time later and arrested him.
Palmer is being held in the Chesterfield County Jail without bond pending a hearing in Chesterfield County General District Court.
