Richmond, VA—Just days after being aerated in preparation for its homecoming later this month, Thomas Jefferson High School's football field has been vandalized.
The Richmond school's football field was found marred Wednesday, after someone created donuts in the turf with a vehicle.
Donations from the school's rotary club paid for the recent aeration of the field.
The school's homecoming is scheduled for October 26. For now, the football team is practicing on another field nearby.
