HOPEWELL, VA—Hopewell Police are searching for two masked men who robbed two people at gunpoint Tuesday night.

It happened as the two victims were painting the interior of a vacant home in the 400 block of Amery Court at approximately 8:37 p.m. Tuesday.

Police said the masked suspects entered the home and robbed the victims at gunpoint before fleeing on foot. No one was injured in the incident.

The first suspect is described as a black male, 30-40 years-old, 6'0", 200 pounds, wearing dark jeans, black hooded sweatshirt under a grey/brown in color faux fur coat, a black bandana and goggles covering his face.

The second suspect is described as a black male, 20-25 years-old, 5'11", 160 pounds, wearing dark jeans, a black hooded sweatshirt under a dark colored jacket, a black bandana and goggles covering his face.

The Hopewell Police Department is asking anyone who may have been traveling in and around the area of this incident and observed any person(s) matching the above descriptions contact lead Detective Roland Grimm at (804) 541-2284.
