Ashland, VA—Police are searching for a man accused of robbing a South Carter Road hotel the morning of September 26.
Employees of the hotel tell police that the suspect, described as a black male, jumped over the front desk counter, stole all the cash from one register, and fled on foot.The larceny took place at a hotel in the 100 block of South Carter Road.
The man was wearing a red hat, black shirt, gray shorts and work boots during the incident. Surveillance cameras captured him jumping over the counter.
