Folk Festival Street Closures

Several streets will be closed to vehicles in downtown Richmond this weekend to accommodate the Richmond Folk Festival.

The event will require the closing of:

East Byrd Street between South Second and South Seventh streets;

South Second Street between the Lee Bridge and East Byrd Street;

South Third Street between East Canal and East Byrd streets;

South Fourth Street between East Canal and East Byrd streets;

South Fifth Street between East Canal and Tredegar streets;

Tredegar Street between South Seventh and the Belle Isle parking lot;

South 10th Street between Haxall Point and the Federal Reserve Building, and;

Spring Street between South Belvidere and East Second streets.

 

Parking will not be permitted on South Second and South Fifth streets.

The roads will be closed from 4:00 p.m., Friday to 11:59 p.m., Sunday, October 14.
