Richmond, Va - Police are telling 8News that there were two separate incidents of home invasion Saturday night. One was on the Southside at 7:30pm on 3400 block of Decatur Street. Three black males entered the home, where three victims were held up while the intruders stole numerous electronic items. No victims were hurt in the incident.
Later that night at 9:30pm on the 100 block of S. Laurel Street a home was invaded by 5 black males, all masked and armed. Police are saying that there were 6 victims (or residents) in this incident. The intruders stole miscellaneous items then vacated the premises without injuring any of the occupants.
Police are not investigating these incidents as related, but are asking the public's help. So if you have any information on either incident please call Richmond Crime Stoppers at (804)780-1000, and stay with 8News for updates.
