HENRICO, Va. (AP) - Henrico County police say the apparent drowning of a teenager in a hotel pool appears to be an accident.
Police tell media outlets that a group of youths told investigators the 16-year-old boy dived into the pool and hit his head on the side. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital
The incident occurred Friday night at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Police say the victim was staying at the hotel with his parents. His name hasn't been released.
