Chesterfield, VA—A male victim suffered serious injuries when a dump truck crashed into a Nissan Maxima near Midlothian Turnpike and Old Hundred Road.
The dump truck rammed into the Maxima on the driver's side door. The driver of the Maxima had to be cut from the vehicle, and flown by med flight helicopter to MCV Medical Center.
The extent of the drivers' injuries is unknown at this time, although the driver of the Maxima's condition is deemed "life threatening."
The dump truck driver is not facing any charges at this time. Virginia State Police Crash Team is investigating the accident.
