RICHMOND, VA—Eight people were displaced after an early morning house fire in Richmond on Tuesday.
The fire broke out around 2 a.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of Lasalle Drive, near Laveta Drive.
Seven adults and one child were displaced by the fire. The Red Cross is assisting the family.
One adult suffered minor burns but refused treatment, fire officials said.
The back of the home was badly damaged; fire officials said they believe the fire started in the back.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
