SPOTSYLVANIA, VA—Three people were arrested after an investigation into a heroin and prostitution ring in Spotsylvania County.
Robert Crawford, 32, was charged with distribution on heroin, pandering and conspiracy to pander.
Casey Ross, 23, was charged with prostitution.
Amanda Garza, 22, was charged with pandering and prostitution. Garza was also served on an outstanding warrant from Orange County.
An investigation was launched after undercover detectives found numerous online ads that advertising prostitutes. Agents contacted Crawford and arranged for two prostitutes and heroin to be taken to an area hotel, police said.
Police said Ross and Garza told police they were prostitutes and identified Crawford as their pimp.
After making contact with Crawford, a deal was worked out for him to bring two prostitutes and some heroin to a local hotel located in Spotsylvania County.
