Nadeen was raised in the Sunshine State where she attended college at the University of Florida and received her Bachelors of Science degree in Broadcast Telecommunications with a Minor in Arabic Language and Literature. While in college, Nadeen worked as an anchor, producer and reporter for PBS Affiliate WUFT-TV. There she received awards such as "Best Student Newscast" from the National Broadcasting Society and the Society of Professional Journalist and Best Short Hard News Feature from the Florida Associated Press. She now brings those tricks to Central Virginia. When she's not braving what she thinks is cold weather, Nadeen enjoys travelling, spending time with family and cheering on the Gators, Giants…oh, and Tim Tebow.
Nadeen is always looking for story ideas; feel free to email her at nyanes@wric.com.
