RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Virginia State Police will have its largest graduating class ever.
A ceremony is set for Friday morning at Meadow Event Park in Caroline County for 89 new troopers.
In addition to have its biggest graduation class, 13 women represent the highest number of female graduates.
Members of the 118th Basic Session began a 37-week training session in February. The new troopers will report to their individual duty assignments on Monday for the final phase of training.
