Richmond, VA—After an early morning armed robbery near Virginia Commonwealth University campus Sunday, police are investigating.

Victims tell police that they were walking to their car around 3:45 AM Sunday morning, when two men approached them with a gun.

The pair robbed the victims, and then fled on foot, heading down Harrison Street.

Both suspect were wearing all black clothing, and both are described as being 19-20 years old.

An alert was sent to VCU students about the incident. If anyone has information about the crime, please contact Crime Stoppers at 804-780-1000.
