HANOVER, VA—Hanover Police arrested a Mechanicsville woman in connection with two convenience store robberies early Monday morning.

Jennifer A. Pickrel, 44, of Mechanicsville, was arrested and charged with two counts of armed robbery.

The first incident took place at the Fas Mart, located at 9492 Chamberlayne Road, at approximately 3:21 a.m. The clerk told police was woman, with what appeared to be a handgun, demanded money.

Approximately 15 minutes later, officers responded to the 7-Eleven at 8316 Meadowbridge Road, for a similar call.

No one was injured in either robbery.

Pickrel was stopped and subsequently arrested by officers during a traffic stop at approximately 4:21 a.m.
