Thanks to an observant citizen and investigating officers, a marijuana growing operation has been shut down.
Richmond's Second Precinct recently received a tip from a citizen and observed numerous marijuana plants growing behind a residence in a garden of tomato plants.
With the assistance of Third Precinct they obtained a warrant, secured the residence and seized approximately 43 plants with a total weight of more than 50 pounds!
This investigation remains ongoing and charged are pending.
