Public Meeting For Hull Street Corridor Revitalization Plan

RICHMOND, VA—Plans are underway to revitalize Hull Street Road, and now citizens are getting a chance to weigh in on the project.

A public meeting will be held Tuesday night, allowing the public to voice their opinions regarding the proposed project.

The meeting will be held at Ramsey Memorial United Methodist Church, located at 5900 Hull Street Road in Richmond. The public input session will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The project starts on Hull Street Road at the Walmsley Boulevard intersection and goes to the railroad line at Southside Plaza.

Both Richmond and Chesterfield were granted a federal grant to revitalize the Hull Street corridor.

Planned improvements include safer areas for walking and bicycling by expanding sidewalks and addling bike trails; increasing transit services; and making environmental enhances by creating parks.
