The protest comes amid proposed plans by the district to rezone some schools in the county. Some parents say they're unhappy with the districts plans thus far.
A community meeting to discuss the proposed redistricting will be held Wednesday night.
Henrico County's redistricting members reviewed and voted on 11 proposed maps for elementary school students. The proposed maps would take affect after a new elementary school opens next fall.
Five of the proposed 11 maps moved forward in the proposal, but that left some parents upset.
The community input session on the proposed redistricting plans will be held at the Hermitage High School gymnasium, located at 8301 Hungary Spring Road. The meeting starts at 6:00 p.m. and runs until 8:00 p.m.
