Richmond, VA—Women from all over central Virginia gathered in Richmond Sunday afternoon, for the 6th Annual Women's Forum.

Radio One's Clovia Lawrence hosted the event, held at the Trinity Family Life Center, located at 3601 Dill Road.

The event was free, and open to all local women. "The true stars of the Women's Forum are the women in the audience," stated Ms. Lawrence.

The Women's Forum featured discussions on women's issues in a free-flowing format, as well as several guest speakers. Sgt. Carol Adams of the Richmond Police Department spoke on domestic violence, and other topics of central importance to women in the area.

The theme of Women's Forum 2012 was "Trial Behind the Smile, I Claim Victory."
