Emporia, VA—Wednesday afternoon, Virginia State Police located a mother and infant at the center of a Massachusetts Amber Alert; the child was unharmed.

Massachusetts State Police issued an Amber Alert for three-month-old Gaebria Kozaczek Wednesday morning, after the child's mother, 28-year-old Cheryl Kozaczek left her home with the baby at 1 AM.

Kozaczek does not have legal custody of the child, and preliminary information released by sources close to the situation indicated there may have been reason to fear for the child's safety.

At 2:50 PM, Virginia State Police stopped  Kozaczek's car on 95 south in Emporia; Kozaczek was taken into custody, and the Amber Alert was canceled.
