Richmond, VA—The American Red Cross is assisting a family of
4, after they were displaced by a house fire Sunday afternoon.
Shortly after
4:00, Richmond Fire crews responded to reports of fire at a residence in the
4300 block of Ferguson Lane.
Heavy smoke was
pouring from the single-story home when crews arrived; the fire itself was
extinguished fairly quickly.
The American Red
Cross was called on to assist the four individuals displaced, including 2
children. There were no injuries, and the cause of the fire remains under
investigation.
