SPOTSYLVANIA, VA—Police are working to identify human remains found in Spotsylvania County on Saturday afternoon.
Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office Deputies and Detectives responded to a report of human remains that had been located in the 9000 block of Brock Road. The remains were found at approximately 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
The remains were found on the Rappahannock Electric high voltage power line right of way, police said.
The identity, sex and race of the person are unknown at this time.
The Sheriff's Office is working with the Virginia Medical Examiners Office to identify the body.
