Q. What time do polls open?
A. On Election Day, all polling places will be open from 6 AM to 7 PM.
Q. Where do I vote?
A. To check your polling place, visit the State Board of Elections website here.
Q. Do I need to bring I.D. to the polls? What forms of I.D. are acceptable?
A. Yes, all voters in Virginia are required to provide an acceptable form of I.D. at the polls. A voter who does not bring an acceptable ID to the polls will be offered a provisional ballot. The following are considered acceptable forms of identification:
-Virginia voter registration card
-Valid Virginia driver's license
-Any Federal, Virginia state or local government-issued ID
-Employer issued photo ID card
-Concealed handgun permit
-Valid student ID issued by any institution of higher education located in the Commonwealth of Virginia
-Current utility bill, bank statement, government check or paycheck indicating the name and address of the voter
-Social Security card
