CHESTERFIELD, VA-A pedestrian was struck by a car outside Beulah Elementary School on Election Day.

Police said the victim was conscious and breathing. The victim was taken to an area hospital.

The school, which serves as a polling location, is located at 4216 Beulah Road in Chesterfield. It is unclear if the victim was at the school to vote.

The victim's name has not been released.
