Shipwreck Washes Ashore Nags Head Beach

Nags Head, NC—A portion of an unidentified shipwreck has washed ashore a public beach in North Carolina, officials say.

According to affiliate WAVY and the Town of Nags Head, the wreck landed on Bonnett Strett public beach, near mile post 10.5.

There is no word on the identity of the shipwreck at this time.
