Richmond, Va - Quick actions by Richmond Police officers today resulted in the arrest of a man for a homicide that occurred this morning in the Swansboro West neighborhood.
At 11:10 a.m. officers were called to the scene of a two-vehicle collision in the 3900 block of Larchmont Lane. When officers arrived two minutes later, they discovered the driver of one of the vehicles – Terrell Anderson, 33, of the 2000 block of West Cary Street – had been shot to death. The second vehicle, which was parked at the time, was unoccupied.
Officers quickly developed information that led them to detain a man spotted fleeing the scene. Demione Antione Stevens, 30, of the 2300 block of Halifax Avenue is charged with conspiracy to commit murder and conspiracy to commit robbery.
Even though an arrest has been made, Richmond Police detectives are asking anyone with additional information about this murder to call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000. Tips also can be sent via text to Crime Stoppers at 274637, using the key word "ITip" followed by your tip. Both Crime Stoppers methods are anonymous.
