RICHMOND, VA- Virginia Commonwealth University says police are in control of the situation after a robbery was reported near campus.
In an alert, the university reported a robbery took place off campus.
It happened near Cary and Adams Streets at 11:23 a.m., according to the university.
Police on are scene and say the suspects fled on foot.
